Howard County Route Y to Undergo Resurfacing

HOWARD COUNTY – Motorists near Harrisburg will see resurfacing work begin on Route Y next week.

The Missouri Department of Transportation says this resurfacing work will improve the pavement condition and smoothness of the roadway.

Work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 30, and is expected to take up to a week to complete. Daily lane closures will be in place north of Route 124. Signs, flaggers, and pilot vehicles will guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists are asked to slow down, plan extra travel time, avoid distractions and watch for crews in work zones. MoDOT says the patience of motorists is appreciated.

This work is weather permitting and could be delayed.
