Nodaway County Route N to remain closed overnight

MARYVILLE, Mo. – Local crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation have been working to replace a culvert on Nodaway County Route N between Route U and Route VV today. Crews had planned to close Route N at that location both today, Wednesday, Sept. 23 and tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 24, with the road reopened this evening, but circumstances at the work site have made an overnight lane closure necessary for the safety of motorists. They plan to have the roadway reopened by 3 p.m. tomorrow.

Until the roadway reopens, drivers will need to use an alternate route.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change. Please remember that all work zones are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention to all roadway signing and barricades.
