Utility work to close one lane of Buchanan County Route V

GOWER, Mo – Utility work may cause delays for travelers on Buchanan County Route V beginning Thursday. Crews from Sellenriek Construction, Inc. will close one lane of Route V near the Platte County line for communications work.

From Thursday, Sept. 24 through Wednesday, Sept. 30, the roadway will be narrowed to one lane from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Drivers should stay alert and obey all traffic signs and flaggers to safely navigate through the work zone. Motorists can expect delays.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change. Please remember that all work zones are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones.
