MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Skyline Road CLOSED in Seymour

What: Skyline Road CLOSED at U.S. Route 60 in Seymour

When: Starting Tuesday, September 8, and lasting up to 7 days

Why: Construction crews widening and adding turn lanes at Skyline Road as part of the U.S. Route 60 Intersection Safety and Resurfacing Project between Rogersville and Seymour

Traffic Impacts:

• Skyline Road CLOSED at U.S. Route 60
• A temporary road crossing on MoDOT’s Right of Way at U.S. Route 60 and Skyline Road will be provided for the Amish
• Crews and equipment close to traffic in areas
• Electronic message boards located near the planned road work will alert drivers to any changes in the work scheduled
• Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.

(Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule)

Project Details:

• The projects are scheduled for completion in late-November 2020.
• The prime contractor is APAC-Central of Springfield.
• The total project cost is $9 million.
