MoDOT starts month-long closure of ramp from WB I-44 to Jefferson next week

ST. LOUIS – Drivers who use westbound Interstate 44 to get to Jefferson will need to seek different routes, starting next Wednesday, as crews will close the ramp from westbound I-44 to Jefferson for 30 days, after reopening the ramp to westbound I-44.

Crews will reopen the ramp from Jefferson to westbound I-44 at 9 a.m., Wednesday, September 9. Immediately after that ramp is reopened, they will close the ramp from westbound I-44 to Jefferson for 30 days.

The closure is part of the on-going work on the westbound I-44 bridge over Jefferson.

Drivers can take westbound I-44 to the Grand exit, take Grand to Chouteau and Chouteau to Jefferson as a detour.
