MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Hubble Drive CLOSED at Route 38 in Marshfield for Several Hours on Aug. 21

What: Hubble Drive (Webster County Route CC) CLOSED between Route 38 and Washington Street in Marshfield 

When: 6 a.m. until noon on Friday, August 21 

Traffic Impacts:

  • Hubble Drive (Route CC) CLOSED to all traffic
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes around the closing
  • No detour planned 

Why: Contractor crews grinding off the top layer of asphalt and resurfacing Hubble Drive (Route CC) 

(Weather or construction delays could alter the work schedule.) 

Project Summary:

  • Roundabout:
    • Build a roundabout at the intersection of Hubble Drive, Buffalo Street and Banning Street
    • Install new street lights at roundabout
    • Resurface Hubble Drive between Rifle Range Road and Spur Drive (Route 38) in Marshfield
    • Route CC between Rifle Range Road and Route 38 in Marshfield turned over to the city of Marshfield after completion of interchange project
    • Prime Contractor: APAC-Central, Springfield
    • Completion Date: Nearing completion
    • Total Project Cost: $1.9 million
