Road Work Continues for Route ZZ and Interstate 70 in Montgomery County

MACON - Weather permitting, MoDOT crews will be doing the following work in Montgomery County. Please see dates and locations below. All work will be completed between 7:00 a.m and 4:00 p.m. each day.

Montgomery County Route ZZ - Aug. 17-19, the road will be closed from Missouri Route 19 to Montgomery County Route RA for overlay operations.

Interstate 70 westbound - Aug. 18, the passing lane will be closed between mile marker 175 and mile marker 174 for core crilling operations. There will be a 12 ft. width restriction in place while the work is completed.

Motorists will need to use alternate routes for the closure. Please use caution if you will be traveling near any work zones. Remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
