SIKESTON – The Route DD overpass over Interstate 55 in Ste. Genevieve County will be reduced with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews complete bridge repairs.
This section of roadway is located at Exit 162 in Valley View, Missouri. The on and off ramps will remain open.
Weather permitting, work will begin Tuesday, Sept. 8, with completion anticipated Sunday, Nov. 8. Work will be completed under one-lane traffic across the bridge using temporary signals.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
