New Roundabout at Hubble Drive (Route CC)

Buffalo/Banning Streets OPEN In Marshfield

 

What: New roundabout OPEN to traffic at Hubble Drive (Route CC) and Banning/Buffalo Streets In Marshfield

When: 11 a.m. today (Friday, August 7) 

Traffic Impacts:

  • Hubble Drive (Route CC) OPEN to traffic but in new roundabout configuration at Banning/Buffalo Streets
  • Buffalo Street on the north side and Banning Street on the west side of Hubble Drive (Route CC) OPEN
  • Buffalo Street on the south side and Banning Street on the southeast side of Hubble Drive (Route CC) to CLOSE Monday, August 10 until early to mid-September.
    • Signed detours in place
    • Drivers will have to use detour to get from Buffalo and Banning Streets to Hubble Drive 

(Weather or construction delays could alter the work schedule.) 

Project Summary:

  • Roundabout:
    • Build a roundabout at the intersection of Hubble Drive, Buffalo Street and Banning Street
    • Install new street lights at roundabout
    • Resurface Hubble Drive between Rifle Range Road and Spur Drive (Route 38) in Marshfield
    • Route CC between Rifle Range Road and Route 38 in Marshfield turned over to the city of Marshfield after completion of interchange project
    • Prime Contractor: APAC-Central, Springfield
    • Completion Date: December 2020
    • Total Project Cost: $1.9 million
