Route Y closure extended again in northwest Andrew County

SAVANNAH, Mo. – Weather has once again extended the road closure on Route Y in northwest Andrew County. What was intended to be a one-day road closure for a culvert replacement has now been extended into next week.

Crews closed Route Y between County Road 4 and County Road 7 on Monday, July 27. Route Y will now remain closed through the afternoon of Monday, Aug. 3. Until the roadway reopens, drivers will need to use an alternate route.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change. Please remember that all work zones are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention to all roadway signing and barricades.
