Ellis Boulevard Bridge Maintenance to Begin Monday Night

JEFFERSON CITY – Traffic along Ellis Boulevard in Jefferson City will be limited overnight for bridge repairs next week.

On Monday, August 3 and Tuesday August 4 Missouri Department of Transportation crews will make bridge joint repairs on the Ellis Boulevard bridge over U.S. Route 54. In order to make these repairs, crews will close lanes of the bridge between 7:30 p.m. and 2 a.m.

MoDOT advises motorists that delays are possible while work takes place. Drivers are advised to be patient, obey all traffic signs and give crews plenty of space to work.

Traffic on Route 54 will not be affected.

Work is weather permitting and could be delayed.
