Ramp improvement project set to begin at I-29 and 64th St. in Platte County

PLATTE COUNTY – Crews will begin a ramp improvement project at northbound I-29 and the 64th St. exit in Platte County, beginning at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 22. The improvement project is expected to last at least 100 days. Various lanes will be closed throughout the project. Motorists can expect slowdowns in the area. We encourage motorists to plan ahead. All work is weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
