JEFFERSON COUNTY- The Missouri Department of Transportation will hold an open-house virtual public hearing on Thursday, July 16 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Webex.
If you would like to learn more about the Route 21 at Lowry Lane Intersection Improvement Project and leave a comment or question concerning the project, this is a great opportunity.
The purpose of this project is to improve safety at the Lowry Lane intersection by installing a Two Way Left Turn Lane (TWLTL) and upgrading the existing guardrail to current standards from 2100 feet north of Lowry Lane to 900 feet south of Lowry Lane in Jefferson County. By adding this lane, it will improve safety and reduce the number of crashes, as well as help overall traffic flow on Route 21.
A comment form is currently available on MoDOT’s webpage modot.org/intersection-improvements-route-21-lowry-lane. The direct link to the Route 21 Survey can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/r/8F9VXHB. The form will be available from now until 4 p.m. on July 30, 2020. Our staff will review your questions and concerns, significant comments will be receiving responses by our MoDOT staff.
