Crews to Begin Striping Interstate 70 in Mid-Missouri

COOPER/BOONE/CALLAWAY COUNTY – One of Missouri’s most traveled roadways will be undergoing striping operations next week.

Beginning Sunday, July 12, Missouri Department of Transportation crews will begin striping Interstate 70 in Cooper, Boone and Callaway Counties. This work will take place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights. Striping is expected to be completed by mid-August.

This is a moving work zone. Motorists are asked to slow down, put away distractions, and watch for crews in work zones. Message boards will alert motorists of the work.

This work is weather permitting and could be delayed.
