SIKESTON - Northbound Interstate 55 in Scott and Cape Girardeau Counties will be reduced with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform pavement improvements.
This section of roadway is located from mile marker 80 near Benton, Missouri to mile marker 95 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Wednesday, July 22 through Thursday, Oct. 1 from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
