PLATTE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close all lanes of NW Platte Drive between Green Hills Road and 9 Highway beginning Tuesday, July 7 and continuing until Wednesday, August 5 for installation of traffic signals at Mattox Rd.
Motorists will have to travel north on Green Hills Rd., then south on Northwood Rd. to get back on 9 Highway. All work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
