Crews will close lanes at Noland Rd near 40 Highway for urgent repairs

JACKSON COUNTY – Crews will close one lane of northbound and southbound Noland Rd. near 51st. St., which is just south of 40 Highway from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Thursday, July 2 for urgent pavement repairs. The repairs are necessary after a sinkhole developed while crews were installing a new watermain.

 

A flagger operation will be utilized to help assist motorists navigate the work zone. The repair has the potential of impacting the morning commute. All work is weather dependent.

 

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
