HANNIBAL – The Missouri Department of Transportation has closed Clark County Route AA, one mile south of Route NN, until emergency repairs can be completed.
“Excessive ground moisture from recent heavy rainfall received in the area has caused a portion of the roadway slope to slide affecting the integrity of the roadway” explained Missouri Department of Transportation Area Engineer, Amy Crawford. “While repairs are scheduled to begin next week, with additional rain in the forecast, site conditions will need to improve so repairs can be completed,” said Crawford.
