Route 6 resurfacing project nearing the end

Striping planned for Friday, June 26

St. Joseph, Mo. – The resurfacing project on Route 6 from just west of Route AC (Riverside Road) to Route 31 is in its final stages. Crews from Herzog Contracting Corp., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, plan to complete the final step in the project tomorrow: striping.

The striping crew will be a moving operation and may not have the traditional work zone set up to which many drivers are accustomed. Drivers should remain alert to all construction signing and vehicles. Move over when possible and give the striping operation plenty of room to work.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change. Please remember that all roads are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive.
