Route 142 in Oregon and Ripley Counties Reduced for Overlay, Shoulders

WILLOW SPRINGS – Route 142 in Oregon and Ripley Counties will be reduced to one lane with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews widen the shoulders and overlay the roadway.

This section of roadway is located from Route EE in Oregon County to Route 21 in Ripley County.

As construction is underway, flaggers will be present, and traffic will be guided through the work zone by a pilot car.

Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, July 13 through Thursday, Oct. 1 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., including weekends as necessary.   

The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
