What: Westbound I-44 on and off ramps CLOSED at Missouri Route 360 and Greene County Route N/T interchanges (Mile Marker 69 & 67, respectively) west of Springfield
Where/When:
- Missouri Route 360 westbound ramps: For short periods between midnight and 2 a.m. Thursday, June 25
- Greene County Route N/T westbound ramps: For short periods between 10 p.m. and 4 a.m. Friday, June 26, into early Saturday, June 27
Why: Contractor crews repaving westbound lanes of I-44 near the interchanges
Traffic Impacts:
- Drivers will not be able to enter westbound I-44 from either interchange when crews are paving nearby
- Ramps closed for up to 30 minutes at a time
- Drivers can reach their destinations by using interchanges in the area including Greene County Route MM/B or Greene County Route PP/K
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes
Details: Work is part of a larger project to resurface I-44, lengthen interchange ramps and install new guardrail between a point east of Missouri Route 96 (Mile Marker 58) and Missouri Route 266/Chestnut Expressway (Mile Marker 72) west of Springfield.
