CALLAWAY COUNTY – A project working to improve safety devices and driving surfaces along Interstate 70 Outer Roads will continue with pavement work around the city of Auxvasse next week.
Starting Monday, June 22, contractors for the Missouri Department of Transportation will be paving Callaway County Route N.
The work will require multiple single lane closures. Flaggers and pilot vehicles will guide motorists through the work zone. Drivers are advised to use extra caution through work zones, obey all traffic signs and avoid any distractions.
This work is part of a larger project occurring at several locations along Interstate 70 Outer Roads in Boone and Callaway Counties throughout the summer and fall. All work is expected to be completed by November 1.
