St. Louis Work Zones for June 18 - 24

ST. LOUIS – Motorists who use Route H (Riverview) in the city of St. Louis will need to find an alternate route when crews close the area starting at 6 a.m. June 22 for a month.

Crews will be resurfacing the roadway and installing concrete median during the closure. Local residents and businesses will be able to access their property, using similar detours to the ones they use when flooding has Riverview closed.

Crews will close Riverview between Chain of Rocks Drive and I-270.  Local traffic will be able to get to Home Depot and Mido’s Trucking only from the south.  The residents who live between Adrian Drive and STL water will be able to get to their properties from the north through side streets, with flagging crews directing traffic through the section.

There will be no through access between I-270 and Chain of Rocks Drive. Riverview is expected to reopen by late July.

Drivers in north St. Louis County should be aware of upcoming work this week on Interstate 270.

Crews will close two northbound I-270 lanes at Route 370 starting at 8 p.m. Friday, June 19 until 5 a.m. Monday, June 22 for bridge painting. One lane and the westbound ramp from Route 370 to northbound I-270 will also be closed during these times.

For more on roadway closures due to construction, additional work zone information and real-time roadway weather conditions go to http://traveler.modot.org/map.  For real-time traffic, visit www.gatewayguide.com. All work is subject to change and may be shifted due to inclement weather.
