NOW OPEN: U.S. Route 36 in St. Joseph closed from 10th Street to 22nd Street

ST JOSEPH, Mo. – After closing early this morning due to an overturned livestock trailer and loose cattle, Buchanan County U.S. Route 36 east and westbound from 10th Street to 22nd is now open. Local MoDOT crews responded to assist with traffic control and clearing the vehicle and livestock from the roadway. The scene has been cleared and normal traffic patterns have resumed.

Motorist are urged to stay alert and pay attention to all roadway signing and barricades and to eliminate distractions. Please remember that all roads are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive.
