PLATTE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will make the following traffic changes as part of a resurfacing project on Route 9 and Prairie View Road in Platte County. All work is weather dependent.
- Crews will close various lanes of Route 9 between Barry Rd. and Route 45 from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. nightly, beginning Monday, June 15 and continuing until Monday, July 20 for resurfacing work
- These closures will be 24/7 beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, June 19 and continuing until 6 a.m. Monday, June 22
- Crews will close various lanes of northbound and southbound Prairie View Rd. between Route 9 and 56th St. from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m. nightly, beginning Monday, June 15 and continuing until Monday, July 20 for resurfacing work
- These closures will be 24/7 beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, June and continuing until 6 a.m. Monday, June 22
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
