Route 129 in Putnam County resurfacing now complete

UNIONVILLE, Mo. – The resurfacing project on Putnam County Route 129 from the Iowa state line to U.S. Route 136 east of Unionville will be completed today. Contractors from W.L. Miller Company, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, are striping the route today after its recent resurfacing project, which began May 4.

Though this project is complete, drivers may encounter work zones at any time. Please remember that all roadways are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving and to not move or drive around barricades or other traffic control devices in work zones.

For more information about this and other MoDOT projects, visit modot.org and view the online Traveler Information Map. Also at modot.org, sign up online for work zone updates. Information is also available 24/7 at 888-ASK-MODOT (275-6636) or via social media.
