MoDOT TRAFFIC ALERT: Equipment Crossing Marshall Road Near Marshfield Beginning Thursday, June 11

What: Short-term stops on Marshall Road near I-44 for equipment crossing near Marshfield

When: 7 p.m. tonight (Thursday, June 11) and lasting several weeks

Why: Equipment crossing the road to work on I-44 interchange project. A second I-44 interchange is under construction at Marshfield at Mile Marker 103.

Traffic Impacts:

  • Equipment crossing Marshall Road at times. Short-term traffic stops by flaggers to allow equipment to cross the road.
  • Steel plates on the road surface
  • Crews and equipment close to traffic
  • Night lighting will be set up around the road crossing
  • Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
