ALBANY, Mo. – A scrub seal project is scheduled to close two Northwest Missouri routes beginning this Friday, June 12. Crews from the Missouri Department of Transportation will close the following routes from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, in order to complete the preventative maintenance project:
- June 12: Route T in Daviess County (U.S. Route 69 to Route AA)
- June 15: Route T in Daviess and Gentry counties (Gentryville to Route AA)
- June 16 – 17: Route C in Gentry and Worth counties (U.S. Route 136 to Route M)
During the closures, motorists must use an alternate route. MoDOT does its best to be good stewards of the monies provided by taxpayers. One of the ways is to employ many preventative maintenance methods, such as scrub seals.
All work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change. Motorists are urged to stay alert and pay attention to all roadway signing and barricades and to eliminate distractions. Please remember that all work zones are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive.
