Route OO Resurfacing Project to Begin This Week

LACLEDE/DALLAS COUNTY – Motorists in Laclede and Dallas Counties will see road work along Route OO throughout the summer.

Route OO in Laclede and Dallas Counties will undergo resurfacing this year between Route 32 and Bennett Spring State Park. This work will improve the pavement condition of the roadway and increase its smoothness.

To prepare for the upcoming resurfacing process, a contractor working for the Missouri Department of Transportation will be removing and replacing guardrail beginning Wednesday, June 3. Work will begin south of the Route 64A and Route OO intersection in Bennett Spring State Park, and then will move south towards Route 32. This guardrail work is expected to be complete by June 8.

This work will require single lane closures. Signs and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone. Motorists are asked to slow down and watch for crews in work zones.

More information will be provided closer to the start date of the resurfacing of Route OO. For more details on this project, please visit modot.org/RouteOOResurfacing.
