What: Contractor crews resurfacing I-44 will CLOSE the eastbound on and off ramps at the Greene County Route PP/K interchange (mile marker 61) west of Springfield
When: For short periods between 12:01 a.m. and 4 a.m. Saturday, May 30
Traffic Impacts:
- Drivers will not be able to enter eastbound I-44 from Greene County Route PP/K or leave eastbound I-44 at Greene County Route PP/K when crews are paving at the interchange
- Ramps closed for up to 30 minutes at a time
- Drivers can reach their destinations by using interchanges on either side of the Route PP/K interchange
- Drivers urged to find alternate routes
Details: Work is part of a larger project to resurface I-44, lengthen interchange ramps and install new guardrail between a point east of Missouri Route 96 (Mile Marker 58) and Missouri Route 266/Chestnut Expressway (Mile Marker 72) west of Springfield.
