Roadwork scheduled for routes in Marion and Ralls Counties

HANNIBAL - Weather permitting, MoDOT crews will be doing the following work in Marion and Ralls Counties. Please see below for locations and details.

Marion County Missouri Route 79 – May 26-29, the road will be reduced to one lane of travel from Fulton Ave. in Hannibal to the Third St. overpass between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for bridge maintenance.

Marion County U.S. Route 24 – May 27, the road will be reduced to one lane of travel from just west of the bridge over BNSF railroad near West Quincy to just east of the bridge between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for bridge maintenance.

Ralls County Sawyers Drive – June 1-3, the road will be closed at Northbound U.S. Route 61 just south of Hannibal near Injun Joe Campgrounds for a culvert replacement between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.

Marion County Route C – June 1-2, the road will be reduced to one lane from Route Z to MO Route 168 for patching operations between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

Marion County Route B – June 3, the road will be reduced to one lane from Route JJ to CRD 411 for road mix overlay operations between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Marion County Route KK – June 4, the road will be reduced to one lane from U.S. Route 61 to CRD 403 for road mix overlay operations between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Motorists will need to use caution when traveling through the work zone during these times. This work is weather dependent and could be rescheduled or delayed.
