St. Louis Work Zones for May 21- May 27

ST. LOUIS – In order to ease Memorial Day travel, the Missouri Department of Transportation is limiting lane closures over the long weekend.

Crews will not close additional lanes on interstates or state numbered routes between noon Friday, May 22 and 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 26.  Any current around-the-clock lane closures, such as those at Interstate 44 and Jefferson, will remain in place.   Crews may have to close lanes for short times for priority work for issues that might impact the safety of the driving public.

Crews will close the ramp from southbound I-270 and eastbound I-44 to Route 366 (Watson Road) starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 26.  The ramp will remain closed through the summer so crews can rebuild a bridge on the ramp.  Drivers on I-270 will still be able to connect to eastbound I-44 during the ramp closures.

For more on roadway closures due to construction, additional work zone information and real-time roadway weather conditions go to http://traveler.modot.org/map.  For real-time traffic, visit www.gatewayguide.com. All work is subject to change and may be shifted due to inclement weather.
