SIKESTON - Route Z in Stoddard County will be closed as contractor crews perform a bridge replacement to Drainage Ditch #42 near LaValle, Missouri.
This section of roadway is located between Route 153 and County Road 789.
Weather permitting, work will begin Monday, May 26 with completion anticipated Thursday, July 4.
This bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
