What: Contractor crews repairing approach pavement at U.S. Route 65 and Kansas Expressway bridges in Springfield which will cause traffic delays
When/Where:
- 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20 – One northbound lane of U.S. 65 at I-44 closed. Also eastbound I-44-to-northbound U.S. 65 ramp CLOSED.
- 8:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 21 – One southbound lane of Kansas Expressway north of Division Street closed
Traffic Impacts:
- Only one lane at a time closed in each location. Traffic will be able to get through in the lane where crews are not working.
- Traffic backups and delays expected at both locations
- Drivers urged to avoid areas and find alternate routes
