Closure planned for Atchison County Interstate 29 ramp

ROCK PORT, Mo. – A ramp on Interstate 29 in Atchison County is scheduled to close this week for a concrete replacement project. Crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation will close the northbound on-ramp to U.S. Route 136 (Exit 110) at Rock Port at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20 through 7 a.m. on Friday, May 22. The ramp will remain closed overnight allowing the concrete to cure.

Motorists are advised to use an alternate route. The project is weather dependent and could be rescheduled.

All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change. Please remember that all work zones are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone down. Arrive Alive. Motorists are reminded to pay attention to all signs and barricades. For your own safety, and the safety of road workers, never drive around barricades.
