CLAY COUNTY – Due to the possibility of inclement weather, the Missouri Department of Transportation has rescheduled bridge expansion joint repair work at I-35 and Chouteau Trafficway.
Crews will close the left lane of southbound I-35 at Chouteau Trafficway from 8 a.m. Friday, June 5 and continuing until 5 p.m. Sunday, June 7 for bridge expansion joint repair work.
Originally, work was supposed to happen Friday, May 15 and continue until Sunday, May 17. All work is weather dependent.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
