REMINDER: Various Asphalt Repairs Scheduled Overnight on May 15 and 16

JACKSON COUNTY– The Missouri Dept. of Transportation has RESCHEDULED there plans for asphalt repairs due to inclement weather. The work will now be overnight on both Friday, May 15, and Saturday, May 16 beginning at 7 p.m. until approximately 6 a.m. the following mornings. Motorists should expect various lane and ramp closures in the following areas during this time and may need to utilize alternate routes. All work is weather permitting.

Friday, May 15, 2020 (7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning)

  • The on ramp from to westbound MO Route 350 over Colbern Rd. will be closed for asphalt repairs and motorists will need to find alternate routes.
  • The on ramp to westbound U.S. 50 from 3rd St. will be closed for asphalt repairs and motorists will need to find alternate routes.
  • The off ramp to 3rd St. from westbound U.S. 50 will be closed for asphalt repairs and motorists will need to find alternate routes.
  • The on ramp to eastbound U.S. 50 from Chipman Rd. will be closed for asphalt repairs and motorists will need to find alternate routes

Saturday, May 16, 2020 (7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning)

  • The ramp from eastbound U.S. 50 to MO Route 291 will be closed for asphalt repairs and motorists will need to find alternate routes.
  • .The on ramp to eastbound U.S. 50 from MO Route 291 will be closed for asphalt repairs and motorists will need to find alternate routes.
