PETTIS COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close northbound and southbound lanes on Route 65 at Routes H and HH from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, May 11 to Thursday, May 14.
These closures will enable crews to install temporary traffic signals at the intersection.
All work is weather dependent.
As part of the signal installation, MoDOT will reduce the speed limit to 55 miles per hour north of Route HH.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
