Bridge and Patching Work Planned for Several Routes in Montgomery County

MACON - Weather permitting, MoDOT crews will be doing the following work in Montgomery County.  Please see the locations and dates below.

Missouri Route 19 south  - May 3-7 and May 11-13, crews will have the road down to one lane traffic at the bridge over Interstate 70 at New Florence while bridge maintenance is underway. The work will take place during the overnight hours between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. each day (beginning at 7:00 p.m. on May 3 and ending at 7:00 a.m. on May 7, then beginning again at 7:00 p.m. on May 11 and ending 7:00 a.m. on May 13)) reopening during daytime hours. There will be a 10 ft. width restriction in place while the work is completed.

Missouri Route 19 north  - May 13-15, crews will have the road down to one lane traffic at the bridge over Interstate 70 at New Florence while bridge maintenance is underway. The work will take place during the overnight hours between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. each day (beginning at 7:00 p.m. on May 13 and ending at 7:00 a.m. on May 15) reopening during daytime hours. There will be a 10 ft. width restriction in place while the work is completed.

Montgomery County Route DD - May 4-5, road will be down to one lane at various locations between Montgomery County Route E and Montgomery County Route A for patching operations. Work will be completed between 7:00 a.m and 4:00 p.m. each day.

Montgomery County Route V - May 6, road will be down to one lane at various locations between Route E and Missour Route 161 for patching operations. Work will be completed between 7:00 a.m and 4:00 p.m.

Montgomery County Route E- May 14, road will be down to one lane at various locations between Route DD and Route V for patching operations. Work will be completed between 7:00 a.m and 4:00 p.m.

Please use caution if you will be traveling in these areaas. Remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
