CORNING, Mo. – Located just north of Corning on Route 111, the Mill Creek Bridge has served motorists since 1936. A replacement project to bring the Atchison County bridge up to current standards was completed this week by contractors from Boone Construction Company, working with the Missouri Department of Transportation. Crews closed the bridge to all traffic in late August 2019.
Due to damage from the 2019 flooding, Route 111 remains closed to through traffic from Atchison County Route E to Holt County Route 118.
