St. Louis Work Zones for April 30-May 6

ST. LOUIS – Drivers should be aware of several significant lane restrictions and closures this week that could impact travel.

All work is weather permitting.

Crews will close two additional lanes on westbound Interstate 44 between Geyer Road and the Soccer Park exit on Thursday, April 30, starting at 8 a.m. During this traffic shift, drivers will have only one through lane on westbound I-44 between Geyer and where the ramp from I-270 comes in, and two lanes open from there to the Soccer Park exit. Crews will open up one of those lanes by 2 p.m. and the other by 4 p.m. that day.

In addition, crews in St. Charles County will close a portion of Route T on Thursday, April 30 to replace a box culvert. Crews will close the south end of Route T at Route 94 and the north end at Route TT from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Message boards are in place and local traffic will be able to pass through the closure.

Motorists should be aware of the following on-going closures:

  • I-44, St. Louis City, Lafayette ramp to westbound I-44 closed until late 2020.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, Jefferson ramp to eastbound I-44/southbound I-55 closed until July 2020.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, eastbound I-44 ramp to Jefferson closed until early May.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one left lane closed Grand to Lafayette until late 2020.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, two left lanes closed Jefferson to Nebraska until late 2020.
  • I-44, St. Louis City, one left lane closed Nebraska to Grand until late 2020.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, I-55 exit ramp to Jefferson closed until late 2020
  • I-44, St. Louis County, one lane closed westbound between I-270 and Bowles through early 2022.
  • I-70, St. Louis County, two left lanes closed westbound and one left lane closed eastbound between Route 141 and 5th Street until late 2020.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, eastbound I-270 off-ramp to Washington Street/Elizabeth Avenue closed until mid-2021.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, one northbound lane closed at Dorsett to I-70 until early May.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, one southbound lane closed south of Route 370 from May 5 until late May.
  • Route 100, St. Louis County, one eastbound lane closed on Route 100 at Route 109 until June 2020.
  • Route 109, St. Louis County, one lane closed in each direction through late spring.
  • I-70, St. Charles County, the ramp from Fairgrounds to eastbound I-70 is closed until late 2020.
  • Route K, St. Charles County, one lane closed weekdays at East Terra Lane from Sonderen to Route K until late spring.
  • Route V, Jefferson County, Route V at Hardin Road closed through early October.
