Work will cause closure on Route 45 Spur in Platte County

PLATTE COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close all traffic on Route 45 Spur between Route 45 and Route 92 from 8:00 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily, beginning Tuesday, April 28 and continuing through Friday, May 1 for railroad and track crossing work. Traffic will be detoured to Highway 92 and Highway 45. The west end of Route 45 Spur will be closed to through traffic but can be accessed from 92 Hwy for local traffic.                                              Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
