Intersection at County Road 1751 at eastbound U.S. Route 50 beginning Wednesday, April 22

JOHNSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will close the intersection at County Road 1751 and eastbound U.S. Route 50, beginning at 7 a.m. Wednesday, April 22. This is a day earlier than previously scheduled.

The intersection will be closed from April 23 through Thursday, May 14. This closure will enable our crews to work on new concrete pavement construction.  Motorists will need to find an alternative route.

All work is weather dependent.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
