JACKSON COUNTY –The Missouri Department of Transportation will be completing guardrail and barrier work along portions of I-435 that will require the CLOSURE of various lanes and ramps between Three Trails Crossing to State Line on Thursday, April 23 as well as Monday, April 27. These closures will have impacts to traffic. All work is weather permitting.
- Thursday, April 23
- Crews will CLOSE the right most lanes of westbound I-435 from Holmes Rd. to Wornall Rd. beginning at 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. the same evening.
- Crews will CLOSE the westbound I-435 off ramp to Holmes Rd. beginning at 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. the same evening.
- Crews will CLOSE the two right most lanes of eastbound I-435 from Wornall Rd. to Holmes Rd. from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. the same evening.
- Crews will also CLOSE the eastbound I-435 on ramp from Wornall Rd. from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. the same evening.
- Crews will CLOSE the eastbound I-435 off ramp to Holmes Rd. from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. the same evening.
- Monday, April 27
- Crews will CLOSE the 104th St. on ramp to eastbound I-435 for temporary barrier removal and guardrail installation beginning at 7 a.m. on Monday, April 27, until 5 p.m. the same evening.
Motorists should expect delays during this time. The project is scheduled to be completed sometime in spring 2020. All work is weather permitting.

This work is part of the I-435 South Loop Link project which will replace the bridges at Wornall and Holmes, rehabilitate the bridges at 104th Street and the Blue River, upgrade the pavement on I-435 which includes adding another lane.
