Sikeston - Route A in Cape Girardeau County will be reduced with a 10-foot width restriction as contractor crews perform surface leveling. This section of roadway is located between Route U and Route 25.
As construction is underway, flaggers will be present, and traffic will be guided through the work zone by a pilot car.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, May 4 through Saturday, June 13 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
