Repair work to impact traffic

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Repairs to devices damaged in crashes will impact motorists in St. Joseph next week. The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted with Capital Electric to repair a damaged pedestrian signal at Interstate 29 and Frederick and a lighting structure on I-229.

Frederick eastbound at I-29: driving lane closed at the southbound ramps and across the bridge.

I-229 northbound: driving lane closed from U.S. Route 36 to approximately 0.5 miles north of U.S. Route 36

Crews will be working at these two locations on Tuesday, April 21 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. They may work those same hours on Wednesday, April 22, if necessary.

Motorists can expect delays at both locations. All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change. Please remember that all roads are NO PHONE zones. Buckle up. Phone Down. Arrive Alive
