SAVANNAH, Mo. – A resurfacing project on Route DD in Andrew County scheduled to begin soon has been pushed back a few days. The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted with Herzog Contracting Corp. to complete the resurfacing project on Route DD from Route T in Savannah to U.S. Route 59 in the Village of Country Club.
The contractor now plans to begin paving on Monday, April 27 instead of Wednesday, April 22. There will be single-lane closures around the work. The closures will be up to 2 miles long during daylight hours, Monday through Saturday. Flaggers and a pilot car will be used to direct motorists through the work zone. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place for the duration of the project, which is expected to be complete by May 4. All work is weather-permitting and schedules are subject to change.
Please remember that all work zones are No Phone zones. Buckle Up. Phone Down. Arrive Alive. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones.
