MACON - Weather permitting, MoDOT crews will be doing the following bridge and culvert work in Macon County. Please see the locations and dates below.
Missouri Route 156 - April 21, road will be closed from Festival Avenue to Eclipse Avenue for culvert work. Work will be completed between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. that day.
U.S. Route 63 - April 30, there will be one lane traffic at various locations northbound and southbound between Macon County Route D at LaPlata to Macon County Route PP in Macon while crews flush bridges. These lane closures will be short in duration. The work will be completed between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. that day.
For the closure, motorists will need to use alternate routes during this time. Please remember to obey all work zone signs and personnel, and put down your cell phone to help eliminate distractions.
