Roadwork Scheduled for Routes in Marion County

HANNIBAL - Weather permitting, MoDOT crews have scheduled roadwork which will temporarily impact traffic on various routes in Marion County. Please see below for locations and details.

Marion County Route A – April 20-24, the road will be closed from Route P in Marion County to Route M in Marion County between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for culvert replacement.

Marion County Route A – April 27-30, the road will be closed from Route M in Marion County to Missouri Route 168 in Marion County between 7:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. for culvert replacement.

Marion County U.S. Route 61 Northbound – April 28-30, the road will be reduced to one lane of traffic from Route O in Marion County to Route HH in Marion County between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. for pavement repairs. The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph with a 14 feet width restriction in place during working hours.

Marion County U.S. Route 61 Southbound – April 23 & 27, the road will be reduced to one lane of traffic from Route M in Marion County to Route HH in Marion County between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. for pavement repairs. The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph with a 14 feet width restriction in place during working hours.

Marion County U.S. Route 36 Westbound – April 20, the road will be reduced to one lane from Route U to Route J in Marion County between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for pavement repairs. The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph with a 14 feet width restriction in place while work is being completed.

Marion County U.S. Route 36 Eastbound – April 21, the road will be reduced to one lane from Route U to Route DD in Marion County between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. for pavement repairs. The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph with a 14 feet width restriction in place while work is being completed.

Marion County U.S. Route 36 Eastbound – April 22, the road will be reduced to one lane from Route U to Route J in Marion County between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. for bridge maintenance. The speed limit will be reduced to 55 mph with a 14 feet width restriction in place while work is being completed.

Motorists will need to use alternate routes during these times. This work is weather dependent and could be rescheduled or delayed.
