JACKSON COUNTY– The Missouri Department of Transportation will have various lane and ramp closures in Jackson County beginning on Tuesday, April 14, until approximately Sunday, April 19. Motorists should expect OVERNIGHT closures in ANY of the following areas between the hours of 7:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. each evening during this time frame. All work is weather permitting.
- The right lane of eastbound I-70 between MO Route 7 and F Highway will be CLOSED.
- The right lane of eastbound I-70 between mile markers 25 and 23 will be CLOSED.
- ALL LANES of Blue Ridge Blvd. over I-49 will be CLOSED.
- Traffic on southbound I-49 will only be able to turn right onto Blue Ridge Blvd. if exiting. The northbound I-49 off ramp to Blue Ridge Blvd. will be CLOSED.
- ALL LANES of 140th St. over I-49 will be CLOSED.
- Southbound I-49 will be diverted onto 135th St. or 139 St. to detour around the work zone.
- The off ramp from southbound I-49 to 140th St. will be CLOSED.
- The off ramp from northbound I-49 to 140th St. will be CLOSED.
- Northbound I-49 traffic will be detoured to MO Route 150.
- The ramp from MO Route 7 to northbound I-49 will be CLOSED.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can be moving operations, such as striping, patching or mowing. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
